SAFETY & CONTINUING EDUCATION

Hatfield-Reynolds Electric has developed a very effective safety program that provides extensive training and support programs for our employees. Our goal is to provide our employees and the public with a safe working environment.

The safety program stresses training the employees in OSHA as well as other safety programs. The weekly toolbox talks initiate the training and is followed with fall protection, hazcomm/MSDS competent person, lock out/tag out, excavation, as well as a range of other programs. These programs are taught at job site sessions that emphasize actual site conditions.

The job site training has resulted in better follow-through communications, employee participation and understanding. A full range of company-supplied personal protection is distributed and stocked including lockout/tagout kits, full harnesses, safety glasses, respirators and hearing protection, gloves, and hardhats.

The development of our safety manuals for all job sites has demonstrated the strong commitment to working by the rules and making MSDS/hazard communication everyone's concern.

Hatfield-Reynolds Electric also promotes the Apprenticeship Program in conjunction with IECA. Management seminars, in-house CD-ROM based training on electrical concepts such as Ohms Law, Lockout/Tagout, and other educational programs are made available to our employees.
